The Reel: A Creative Struggle

As any creative will tell you, it’s always difficult to select your “best” work to showcase on a single project. I spent about 2 months going through work (going back as far as 2017; the last year I put out a demo reel). I would love a shot and think I was settled on it and then I’d come back a couple of days later to review, and I’d hate it. As I continued to work on this project, I realized that whether I loved or hated the shot, the shot represented more than just what is on the frame.

Every shot had its story behind the scenes: from the amazing and talented cast I worked with to the powerhouse crew supporting the production. All I can say is thank you. Thank you to all those who were a part of the production—on or off screen. Thanks for making the last few years, years of growth. 2020 will be one for the books.
